Field Day is June 27th and 28th.
The Holland Amateur Radio Club Field Day station will be located at Victory Point Church, 11530 Ransom Street Holland MI 49424.
Schedule:
Saturday June 27th
Site setup 9AM – Noon
Pizza Lunch for Setup Team – Noon – 1PM
Pre-Field Day ops meeting – 1:30PM
Field Day Start – 2PM
Educational Activity 2PM – 5PM
HARC Dinner (all welcome–please sign-up) – 6PM – 7 PM
Sunday June 28th
Ops. Breakfast – 8AM
Field Day End – 2PM
Tear-down 2PM – 4PM
If you would like to participate, please indicate your interest by email and also let me know if you (or your family/group) plan on attending the Saturday night dinner and the number of participants in your group.
Lastly, Field Day is an operating event; it’s primary purpose is to demonstrate our abilities as radio amateurs in the area of communications. This being the purpose, we need people to join us who are willing to spend some time “in the chair.” So, please let me know if you are willing to operate for a couple of hours; and your availability. Typically we have allowed our Youth operators to run on Saturday afternoon into the evening and I plan on that again this year; so, where we really need help is the overnight shift into Sunday morning and afternoon.
